What CCASS is
CCASS (Central Clearing And Settlement System) is HKEX’s custody ledger: it shows which brokers / custodians hold a stock at day-end — not named ultimate beneficial owners. Data is delayed (often discussed as ~T+2 style lag). One participant line can represent many clients.
Market practice (see e.g. guides on CCASS chip analysis and large-trade / CCASS monitoring):
- Rising top-5 / top-10 concentration while price consolidates → possible accumulation.
- Chips dispersing from concentrated brokers into many small retail brokers after a big run → possible distribution.
- Always combine with price, volume, and announcements — transfers between custodians can look like “flow” without a real change of economic owner.

On an HK ticker, open ! CCASS (tool quota applies) or the full `/t/HK/<code>/ccass/` page:
- Holders table — participant, %, cumulative, and emoji bands (circles ≈ CCASS cumulative stake bands; squares ≈ normalized vs “street” float style teaching from upbot).
- Top-10 trend line in the meta (accumulating / reducing / flat).
- Four synced charts (DisclosureTracker-style UI): price + volume, CCASS holding %, participant count, top brokers stack/line — drag for older history (months to years).
You are not downloading Excel from HKEX by hand every week — you get price and custody on one timeline.
Consecutive accumulation badge (合計連續增持)
When total CCASS holdings (all participants combined) rise day-over-day for at least 5 trading days, you may see a badge:
(up to 3 brokers with the largest share gains over the streak — same idea as Discord upbot.)
Where it shows (HK only, when active):
- Compact badge under the ticker quote bar (non-CCASS tabs).
- Full badge on the ! CCASS tab and CCASS detail page.
Not every HK stock qualifies — the streak must be live in the data.
Not the same as Top-10 trend: the meta line (accumulating / reducing / flat) compares the start vs end of the chart window. The streak badge counts recent consecutive daily rises in total holdings. Both can appear together — e.g. Top-10 reducing over 90 days while the last week still shows a 5-day total rise.

Settings: enable CCASS Accumulation / CCASS 連續增持 under market/scanner alert preferences (on by default for new users).
Workflow to hunt 倍升-style candidates (research)
- Screener or Home rocket / dual-star alert → shortlist.
- Chart: higher highs / reclaim of SMA20–50?
- CCASS: is top-10 % rising with constructive price action, or falling into fragmentation at highs?
- News / 財技 filters: placing, rights, unlock — dilution and lock-up events change the story overnight.
